Jim Wood

Bass

Growing up in Burlington, NC, Jim discovered his passion for playing bass at the age of 15. His affection for the bass guitar was ignited by his love for The Cars' music, particularly influenced by Benjamin Orr.   While Jim initially delved into the music scene through various hair metal bands in the local area, his musical journey evolved during his time at UNC, where he broadened his expertise in jazz, blues, and funk. Despite exploring various genres, his heart has always belonged to straight-ahead rock and roll.   Joining Radio Revolver in recent years has been an extraordinary journey for Jim. It allows him to play the music he grew up loving alongside some of the most talented musicians in the area, making it an unparalleled experience for him.

Rob Wojnar

Drums

Rob was raised on Owasco Lake in Auburn, NY mostly by the Flanigan family. His parents, Prairie Patty and Cowboy Bob were very young, vibrant, fun folks. His mom’s middle brother Terry, “Uncle Bear,” played drums, and Rob was so enamored he started playing around age 11. He then went to SUNY Potsdam where the students at the Crane School of Music in 1990 inspired a proper, more well rounded approach to playing drums. Chad Ploss, in particular, was a wonderful guide to the type of drummer Rob wanted to become. Rob's wife Lisa and he moved to Greensboro in 1995. They now have two extraordinary children, who are encouraging and inspiring. Radio Revolver is Rob's thirteenth band. Lucky 13!
